Abigail Adams

Abigail Adams (born 1744) was the wife and close advisor of the 2nd president of the United States, John Adams. She was also the mother of John Quincy Adams who was the 6th president. Her husband often sought her advice on many matters and thier famous letters they wrote back and forth are filled with intellectual discussions on government and politics. Her letters also serve as a close look into the American Revolutionary War.
